Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome to our home learning page to support pupils with special educational needs. Please click on the links below to access resources to support your child with their speech and language development, academic progress and emotional well-being. If you have any further questions please contact our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator via email: senco@tiltrust.org

These websites are for your information and may be used if you need additional support for your children who may be struggling with the work set on our website for their year group or it may be useful to provide strategies for you to enable children to work more effectively at home.

All of these websites are not just for whilst we are at home at the present time. They will be useful at any time in your children’s lives so please take a look and see what you find useful and any feedback would be gratefully received so that we are able to signpost other families to the best resources.

Please see below the following information regarding transition for your child from The Specialist Teaching Service:

Positive Transitions – A Digital Support Pack

This is a transition guide with accompanying resources and videos. This is designed to be a step by step interactive transition pack that can be delivered by Teachers, TA’s or parents/carers and is suitable for those returning to school and those transitioning to a new class or setting.

The Early Years team have been working to create a package of digital resources for Early Years settings and Reception class teams.  These resources include documents with information on a range of areas such as play and toileting, videos demonstrating strategies such as backward chaining and videos of some key Makaton signs for all staff.   The pack is designed for the whole reception class team but some parts will be of interest to others, both professionals and parents/carers.
