Gaming

Video gaming (playing video games) has become a popular activity for people of all ages.

Some games connect to the Internet, which can allow children to play online with unknown adults and peers.

Select appropriate games-both in content and level of development.
Play video games with your child/children to experience the game’s content.
Set clear rules about game content and playing time, both in and outside of your home.
Strongly warning your child/children about potential serious dangers of Internet contacts and relationships while playing games online.

Internet Safety

The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children’s.

For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of.

For many of us, this can all be a bit too much.

You might be struggling to keep up with the things your child is doing online, you might wonder whether what they are doing is safe, and you might also be thinking how can I be as good a parent online as I am offline?
