Local community support

In these difficult financial times we thought we would trial a shoe and coat exchange. Next week we will have trays available for you to bring in any coats or shoes (good condition please) that no longer fit your child/children. We aim to have several trays available with sizes for ease of sorting. Anyone is then welcome to take anything that fits their child and can be useful to them.

Please have a sort out over the weekend and bring the items to school on Monday. Weather permitting the trays will be put out at the end of each day until all items are gone.

We hope this new scheme is successful and if so we will repeat it.

A message from the Household Support Team at Kent County Council

We would like to advise you of a scheme that is operating by Citizen Advice and is supporting people in Kent who are struggling financially or need support to manage the rising cost of living through its new Money Advice Hub. The service is completely free and confidential. People can access the service online by visiting www.kentmoneyadvicehub.com (with video call and webchat functions) or by calling the freephone number on 0800 808 5622 by phone from Monday – Friday between 8am – 8pm. It can also be accessed using one of five kiosks installed in community spaces in Gravesham, Cliftonville, Ramsgate, Aylesham and Ashford.

Thank you so much to the Royal Opera House and Sheppey Matters for the donation of 54 craft boxes. Our children are really going to appreciate them!
