At Halfway Houses it is really important to explore the world and people around us. Widening our breadth of knowledge allows us to explore experiences beyond our daily routine.
Some of our year 6 students have been lucky to go to 'Norfolk Lakes' for a weeks activity session.
Taking part in outdoor pursuits like climbing, sailing, archery, high ropes and kayaking.
The students that did not go also had a great week doing various activities in and outside school.
They went bowling and to the cinema, had the chance to do some baking and create so bird feeders for our forest school.
On February 12th pupils at Halfway Houses learnt about Chinese New Year, 2019 being the year of the pig.
It was a busy day with years 1 and 2 having fantastic Chinese music workshops, years 3 and 4 learning the art of Chinese painting and years 5 and 6 learning the art of origami!
The children had an amazing time with the workshop leaders and learnt some amazing skills.
